Many of our customers who contract us to build vans with ladder racks have asked for premium options for their vans beyond the standard common ladder rack products available. We are proud to partner with Safe Fleet and their Prime Design brand of premium ladder racks for our commercial van customers.
We are primarily recommending two ladder and roof rack products from Safe Fleet and Prime Design: the AluRack and the ErgoRack.
Prime Design AluRack
Loading bulky sheets of plywood, drywall, and pipe from the back of your work van can be difficult. The AluRack features a built-in rear roller making your loading and unloading process easier and safer than ever. The sturdy design of the AluRack product is built to carry your cargo while standing up to rough weather conditions.
The AluRack also improves your vehicle’s image with its rugged and durable anodized aluminum construction. Commercial Van Solutions handles the installation of the AluRack for you, and since it installs without any holes to drill, it can be added to new or currently-in-use vans without voiding any warranties.
Optional accessories for the AluRack include a conduit tube to safely transport longer items on the rack and a one-touch “Clamp Down” to secure ladders to the rack without tie-downs or bungie cords.
Prime Design ErgoRack
The ErgoRack is a specially-designed ergonomic ladder rack solution. With the ErgoRack, you can deploy and stow your ladders on your commercial van in less than 20 seconds. With the touch of two fingers and only 3.1 lbs of pull force, your crew will enjoy a safer and more efficient process of using ladders at their job site.
The ErgoRack allows your employees to deploy or stow ladders while standing with two feet on the ground. A simple pull of the ErgoRack handle will lift up the ladder and bring it down to eye level for easy reach and deployment. No climbing on the vehicle is required to place or remove ladders.
Whether you have a fleet of small vans like the Mercedes-Benz Metris, or larger vans like some of the larger Ford Transit Connect models available, the ErgoRack can be customized to lower ladders to the right height for easy access.
