Commercial Van Solutions (CVS) is a fabricator/builder of commercial van interiors to meet the demands of our customer business needs. We put our experienced, certified professionals to work for our customers to plan, organize, and up fit vans for any of their business needs. We up fit new or existing vans with commercial grade shelving, partitions, ladder racks, power equipment, safety, cabinets, drawer units, and more. CVS also constructs customized refrigerated vans and limo/shuttle vans.

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to assist in the sales department.

Summary:

The Service Advisor writes vehicle upfit and repair orders as directed by the sales department. Acts as liaison between customers and sales department by communicating with customers regarding vehicle upfit, repairs, problems, and repair timeline, and expressing customer concerns to sales department. Displays exemplary customer service skills and a sales-minded attitude.

Job Duties Include:

  • Writes up customer’s vehicle orders accurately and clearly.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Schedules appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
  • Checks on progress of vehicle upfit or repair throughout the day.
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional work is performed.
  • Reviews orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorizations are noted.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding work in process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Receptionist/Accounting Clerk.

Job Description:

Perform general receptionist, accounting data entry and clerical duties which includes: answering telephones and emails, interacting with internal and external customers, using computer programs such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Job Duties Include:

  • Answers multi-line telephone systems and refers calls accordingly
  • Interacts appropriately with internal/external customers
  • Provides information to the public and internal customer by mail, email and telephone
  • Collates packets, folds letters/documents and prepares for distribution and/or mailing
  • Enters data into established databases, Excel spreadsheets or forms
  • Data entry and general maintenance with QuickBooks such as invoicing, payables, receivables.
  • Types all forms of documents, letters, memos, reports and contracts
  • Opens, sorts, and places mail into designated locations and prepares mail-outs
  • Files and retrieves documents by sorting and storing documents alphabetically, numerically or chronologically.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

We are currently recruiting for a Skilled General Labor person to assist in the fabricating/building/retrofitting of commercial vans.

Job Description:

Perform assembly and installation of manufactured and purchased material, hardware and components to complete the interior and the exterior of the vehicle. Install, troubleshoot and repair AC & DC electrical wiring and components. May operate hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

Job Duties Include:

  • Build, assemble and install interior/exterior components
  • Wire and install both AC & DC components
  • Insulate vehicle interiors
  • Clean and detail interior and exterior of van
  • Keep assigned area clean and orderly
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge and experience with automotive DC electrical
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
  • Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devices
  • Ability to use basic mathematics
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards
  • Experience with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw, router, small machinery, power, air and hand tools
  • Experience with assembly and/or construction work desirable
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms and to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and components; occasionally required to stoop or crawl and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift 50lbs.
